Contest Rules

• You must be an active subscriber of the Writer’s Block Box to enter into the monthly contest.
• There will be a new contests throughout the year. Instructions for the contest will be in the box along with specific details of the prize.
• Entrants will be required to demonstrate skill with use of one box item. Product and skill will be chosen by the creator. This may or may not be repeated throughout the year.
• You must be 13 years or older to enter and win.
• Contest runs through the deadline as outlined.
• Contest is hosted in the United States of America.
• Winners may be chosen by the Writer’s Block Box Community or by the *creator, whichever is specified in the instructions. *The creator may utilize an online randomizer to fairly choose a winner.
• Only one winner will be announced unless otherwise announced by the creator.
• Contest prizes are not interchangeable and cannot be exchanged for cash. The prize will be clearly stated in the instructions.
• The prize may consist of items that promote other authors, businesses, artists, etc.
• The contest will most often involve the use of social media outlets.
• Contest entries must be received by the deadline. Winner(s) will be announced by the last day of the following month.
• Winners will be announced via email and social media (no social media network sponsors these contests in any way).
• Every reasonable attempt will be made to contact the first chosen winner. If the first chosen winner does not respond within 72 hours, the second runner up will be given the prize.
• Prizes will be sent via ground mail on the 1st of the following month (i.e. if you win April’s prize, it's announced May 31st, it will mail out on June 1st).
